About me
Ms. Sterry came to Kent Denver in 2020 from KIPP Denver Collegiate High School, where she taught and developed curriculum for courses including Algebra, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB. A passionate, highly-qualified teacher in secondary mathematics, she is committed to creating a learning environment that encourages all students to develop into lifelong learners.
Ms. Sterry is currently pursuing her Ed.D in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies. Her Dissertation in Practice focuses on how students experience math class and how to bring joy to the math classroom.
